ABOUT THE OWNER
Managing Change
I, Mr Jason Tey have been working in the industry for a period of more than 10 years and as a 6 Sigma practitioner I have obtained the 6 Sigma Green Belt certification at two large technology multinational corporations namely Motorola and Honeywell. Having said that, with a focus on technology and design, my work contributions in the industry span that of business and technical management.
With the ability to translate technical requirements into business key performance indices, I have helped my employers earned more than $1 million dollars.
PRESENT WORKS
International and local governmental regulations on the use of microwave and radio frequency (RF) spectrum and their emissions.
I would like to introduce myself as a Communications Engineer after having completed a 10 months training programme at a Motorola design centre in Illinois, USA under the Motorola-EDB (Singapore) TAP programme. As Singapore moves into an era of rapid technological advancement and adoption of wireless technologies, I feel that there is a need to bring about a greater awareness in the manner in which both the international and local government regulate the use of the microwave and radio frequency (RF) spectrum and their emissions. While the regulation on the use of microwave and radio frequency (RF) spectrum and their emissions is carried out by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States Of America, this regulation is done in Singapore via the local legal system through the Singapore's "Telecommunications Act". Below please kindly find an IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore) website which is used to regulate the usage of communication equipment and frequency spectrum in Singapore.
